on any cruise! Custom built from the ground up it is an original
34 chassis featuring a Downs body, Root Lube Hood, Downs Grill
Shroud and Downs Billet Grill. It is painted 1972-74 GM Corvette
Orange Polly with Custom Flames, all done in PPG paint. This
paint job is slick as a ribbon and flawless! This bad boy is
powered by a 56 Chrysler 354CI, 280HP "Hemi"!(with
improvements estimated to be aprox 325hp now) The engine was
stock and had 56,000 original miles on it when it was taken down
and inspected. It was in excellent condition and had complete
gaskets replaced and head work including valve seats. Then it
was dressed up with over $2200 in custom Billet and accessories
from Hot Heads Inc including Aluminum Intake, Aluminum Valley
Pan, Aluminum Valve Covers,Jet Hot Coat Headers with Aluminized
Exhaust (2 1/4"),Aluminized Mufflers,Polished Aluminum Alternator
and Air Compressor and Dryer w/pressure switch, Polished Billet
Aluminum Puke Container, Lokar Billet Transmission Stick,Chrome
Transmission Pan,Mallory Electronic Ignition, 426 Plug Wires
and Boots,Big Block Chevy Aluminum Water pump,Griffey Aluminum
Radiator with 2700cfm electric fan w/thermostat,600 Holley Carburetor,
Custom Polished Aluminum Breather Cover, and more. It is lubricated
with Elms Oil and holds about 5 gallons of water and antifreeze.
This hot Hemi is hooked to a 350 Turbo Automatic Transmission
to push it down the road. All this rides on a Speedway Engineering
Chrome Tube Axle Front Suspension with chrome Wishbones, Flame
River Vega Cross Steering Box and a Willowwood Disc Brake system.
In the rear you will find a 9 inch Ford, single traction rear
end with a 3 link set up and Carrera Adjustable Coil Overs. The
rear brakes are Ford Drum. This hot suspension set up rides on
BF Goodrich TA Radials (285/70 R15-rear and 16.5/80 R15 front)
mounted to American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels (10x15 rear and
4 1/2 x 15 front). Other custom features include a 16 1/2 Gallon
Aluminum Gas Tank,1940 Chevy Taillights w/blue dots, Adjuke Headlights
with internal turn signals, Third Brake light on tag,37 International
Truck Stainless Door Handles, Custom Billet Door Mirrors, Custom
Billet Gas Fill, and Custom Biscuit Motor Mounts. In side you
will find all the creature features you would expect in a first
class street rod including Dolphin Gauges for the Temp, Fuel,Oil,Volts
and Speedometer. The Dash features Billet Heat and Air Switches(1700
BTU) and you will find a Lokar Chrome Emergency Brake Handle
in the floor complete with Lokar cable. The interior is fitted
with a T-Seat Bench with Arm Rest and Fabric to match through
out. Behind the seats you will find a remote operated Hide Away
CD Player for setting the mood while cruising in this bad boy.
The interior also features Billet Door Handles and Window Cranks,
Overhead Dome Light, and Wood Grain Grant Steering wheel mounted
to a GM Tilt Steering Column. The undercarriage of this car is
as clean and sharp as the top. This Bad Boyz Toy is NSRA Inspected
and it runs and drives like a dream. Guaranteed to be a show
