If your looking for a quality
street rod that is dependable as a driver as well as a show piece
then take a serious look at this 1940 Ford Deluxe 2 Door Coach.
This is a frame off restoration of a solid starter car. All the
sheet metal is original except for the running boards which were
replaced with Drake Steel Running Boards with covers. The original
boards were in need of only minor repair but the owner decided
to change them out. It is powered by a new crate 350 engine with
throttle body that is cooled by a Walker Radiator with an internal
transmission cooler. That is hooked to a 700R4 Transmission and
a narrowed 79 T bird 9 inch Ford rear end with heavy drums and
new coil overs. The front suspension is Mustang Rack & Pinion
and sports 11 inch Trans Am rotors with GM truck calipers. Inside
you will find a beautiful leather interior featuring 9 way power
seats with lumbar and a plush back seat all donated from a Cadillac.
The dash is all Dakota Digital with a painless wiring harness
throughout. She also features Vintage Air, new tinted glass,
Sony sound system with a 9 Disc Cd Changer, Grant Wheel, Tilt
GM Column, Power Windows, Electric Wipers, Seat Belts, and Ultra
Polished Aluminum Wheels. All the stainless on the car has been
polished and the paint is in excellent condition. Finished in
1997 it has only 14000 well cared for miles on it. This car needs
absolutely nothing. It is ready to show or go, priced to sell
