So you want to make a statement
when you cruise down the strip but you need to get respect at
the bike shows as well. Then this custom Arlen Ness 2002 Soft
Tail is the answer to your prayers. It was built by "Hamster"
, Jerry Berryhill in the Ness shop. The frame is an Arlen Ness
Datek & "Ness Tail" with a 5 1/2" stretch
and 38 degree rake. It is powered by a 103 inch S&S Revtech
engine with an Andrews high rev cam and S&S Carburetor. This
powerhouse is hooked to a 5 speed transmission to push it down
the road. The engine and transmisson are polished and chrome.
This bad boy is tight and right. No leaks or squeaks. Built to
cruise or tear ass down the road. It has aprox 2000 miles on
it since new. It features a custom steel tank by Independent
Gas Tank Co and has chrome brackets with an aircraft filler cap,
chrome oil tank, chrome swing arm, PM brakes, Ness Controls,
Ness Foot Pegs, Ness Billet Headlight and more. The paint is
House of Kolors and it is fresh (@1 yr old) and done in a Mardi
Gras theme. Accents done by Robert Powell and Tex Dorman. The
rims are a one off design by Dave Perewitz just for the bike
with matching drive sprocket and they were machined by Boyd Coddington
. The forks are also one off design by Dave Perewitz. You will
notice in the pictures that there are no axle head or nut showing
on the front fork. This bike is as unique as it is fast and has
been well maintained. It is show quality with no disappointments.
This is your chance to get a hot Arlen Ness bike between your
legs for about half of the original price. Only Mercury, the
god of speed and safe delivery himself, could compete with you
