You are viewing a 1932 Ford
Nostalgic Hot Rod. This piece of the past is built with lots
of good old stuff including the original steel body chopped 6
inches, original Model "A" bed shortened 8 1/2 inches,
original 32 grill shell with original insert (not repro), original
Dagoo front axle chromed and drilled, King Bee headlights, Bell
steering wheel and the column drop is an autographed rod from
Don Gartlis "Swamp Rat". It has the right look and
stance, nice and low, ready to GO! This bad boy also features
a custom tube frame with 10 point roll cage, all Tig welded,
Vega Steering Box, Coilovers on all four corners, 4 wheel disc
brakes, new glass in the side windows, new rolled and pleated
interior. The instruments are 'MOON' electric gages in an engine
turned insert in an original dash and the Tach is mounted on
the roll cage above the windshield directly in the drivers vision.
The Tach is a 5 inch 10,000 rpm auto meter with tattle tale hand
and a seperate shift light. The paint is new flat black primer
with flat clear top coat with custom graphics. It is powered
by a 350 Chevy engine with a big cam, The engine details are:
350 4 bolt main block, Hypertectic pistons, pink rods, Mellings
oil pump, the heads are nothing special, the ignition is a performance
distributor DUI unit , the intake is Eldebrock performer RPM
and the carb is a much modified Holley 750 CFM with vacuum secondaries.
The cam is the biggest flat tappet solid lifter cam Doug Herbert
makes.. something like 320 degrees duration and .580 lift. It
idles roughly at 1000 rpm with 6 inches of vacuum. The carb has
been tuned to the cam and performs wonderfully, no bog, no hesitation,
just instant response and instant tire smoke. There are two air
filters on the carb because it picked up the 1/8 mile time by
a tenth. Straightens out the air flow into the carb. It also
features an Art Carr 700 R4 Transmission, 10 inch converter,
9 inch Ford Rear End with Nodular Iron third member, 4:57 gears,
31 spline Detroit Locker, Moser Engineering Axles and adjustable
4 Bar Suspension, new Coker WW Radials, nostalgic Smitty Glass
Packs and more. It has the original 32 Ford Title, licensed and
inspected in Texas. This bad boy runs as good as it looks. Zero
to 100 and stop in 11 seconds and 1000 feet! Runs low sevens
at 99mph in the eighth mile and elevens at 120 in the quarter.
Eats Corvettes and Vipers for Breakfast!!!!! 2100 pounds in street
trim and it has only 27,500 miles on it in 8 years. Simply a
great running and handling Nostalgic Hot Rod you can drive and
enjoy for years. Turns heads and RPM,S every where it goes! It
has appeared in 8 different magazines over the years. This is
your chance to get into a real HOT ROD at a killer price. It
is currently looking for a new home. How about yours?
