Rod & Custom Association 2003 give away car, the "Boydster
II". Built by Boyd Coddington in his shop exclusively for
the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association. This car was given
to one of their lucky members at the Columbus show in 2003. The
lucky winner has owned the car for the required period of time
and now has decided to resale it to some lucky car enthueisest.
This rolling adonis features parts and accessories from the following
contributors: AFCO - shock absorbers, Chevrolet Motor Division-LS1
Engine & Transmission, Classic Instruments-Gauges, Cool Car
Ceramic-Insulation, Flaming River-Steering Components, Gabe Lopez-
Leather Interior, Goodyear-Tires, Hot Rod Stuff-Grill, Lokar-Shifter,
Mattson- Radiator, Painless Wiring- Wiring, PPG-Paint, S.A.C.-Frame,
Street & Performance-Headers. The car also features some
of Boyd Coddingtons custom billet work and of course was built
with the love and attention Boyd is know for in all of his cars.
The current owner has done nothing to the car but show it the
2004 season. It has less than 750 miles on it at the time of
listing. As mentioned in the ad clip below, this is a turn key
car. It has no rear viwe mirror, no horn, no front turn signals.
The only gauges connected are the oil pressure gauge and the
temp gauge. Speedometer and Fuel are not connected. The Classic
Gauge wire schematics on how to wire the gauges come with the
car. All wiring needed to complete the gauge hookup are under
the dash. Other than that the car pretty much speaks for itself.
So if you want a street rod that will surely be the center of
attention at any show or cruise in then you need to plant yourself
in the drivers seat of this bad boy. Already a collectible and
sure to gain value. She is currently looking for a new home!
